Flowers, Chocolate, A drive up to a beautiful view over the city… What are some other romantic ways and ideas to celebrate with your partner, or to enjoy a night with a special someone you just met? Well, I would start with breaking the cliche. I would start with being original.
Sure you can bring her a box of chocolates, or lay out some flower pedals on the bed, and really, if you start to make this a tradition, your significant other may just start to hold you in her heart as some kind of casanova. My one piece of advice if you are to start a tradition, though, is to be able to keep it mobile. While you might enjoy the bed of pedals and a romantic movie, all set out and laid for you every time, don’t be afraid to take it to Hawaii, or even Sweden, if the bonus allows.
What I’d really recommend though, as I said before, is doing something original, something unexpected.
What really brings couples together, is a joint endeavor, a mutual project. Something that when you are home together, you are united in completing, both working on the same thing, a part of the same journey. In this case, what has always been a pleasure and amazingly bonding thing for myself and my significant other, has been our mission to life a healthy lifestyle together.
Nothing has brought us closer together, and made other areas of our life more exciting, than getting fit together, and reaping those benefits. There is more than one side to getting fit that makes it a great endeavor to go on to with your partner.
On one hand, with optimal health, and ever increasing physical ability comes a whole new area of exploration and physical will. You can, in truth, be limitless. When both you and your partner have achieved a hardy athleticism, you will both feel great, look great, and be impressed with each other, which will turn into a new flame in your relationship. While this is the ideal in a relationship bonded further through fitness, there is still even greater joy on the path to getting there.
Dedicating yourselves to each other, to a common goal. There is nothing to build up a relationship than supporting each other and being united in a common goal. You will find by working alongside your partner and enjoying the activity along the way, you two will be bonded closer and your connection will grow deeper day by day.
While it doesn’t have to be a bland trip to the gym if you aren’t intrigued by it, find a mutual activity, or try a few just to see what you like! Any type fitness will be great, try buying a bike!
This Valentine’s Day, unite yourself with your lover for fun, or for the longterm. Deepen your bond by getting active, and setting a goals to get better in shape.
